Rockville, MD. March 19, 2025 – Get Real Consultants has been engaged by Food & Friends, a leading community-based organization providing medically tailored meals and nutrition therapy, to enhance its IT security, compliance, and risk management practices.
With a mission centered on serving individuals living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other serious or chronic health conditions, Food & Friends handles sensitive data, including Personal Health Information (PHI), credit card transactions, and personally identifiable information (PII) of clients, donors, staff, and volunteers. To uphold the highest standards of data security and compliance, it has engaged a team of Health IT policy and security experts at Get Real Consultants to evaluate and strengthen its IT policies, third-party agreements, procedures, and systems.
